i'm looking for a code that has all of the text font for a myspace profile, seriously, all i want is the text font and i can't find it anywhere, and everytime i try to pick it out of a pre-made layout i end up doing crazy stuff... jeeze. haha. i don't want the tables, font size, nothing, just the text font, because all i ever use are default layouts. (3 years of making other layouts made me really tired of all the colors.. haha). anyway, thanks for the help in advance. :)

What you're looking for is pretty tough to do in a site that doesn't allow java. The reason is that a font is a file that has to reside inside the windows directory of the user's computer. if the user doesn't have the font you use on a website, more than likely, their machine will display times new roman or arial, something really common to all computers. if you notice cool fonts in use, more often than not they're part of an image file or are being referenced from another site. I don't think you'd want to deal with the load time involved if your entire myspace page had to be referenced from another site (and the other site wouldn't like it much either). Saw something in Frontpage years ago on making this happen, however, but it was part of a wizard function and probably used java or something else myspace doesn't allow.

When I want to change my font on myspace, I use the code

%26lt; font face="monotype corsiva"%26gt;

or

%26lt; font face="croobie"%26gt;

(just remember to use NO spaces in between the arrows to make it actual code, and always put the fonts name in quotes.)

For the font list itself, I actually just went to my "word" program on my computer and dropped down the font list, and wrote down the fonts I liked. I noticed that not every single one of them works on myspace, but a good deal of them do.
